Happy in Ten Years, or Happy Today?

Happy in Ten Years, or Happy Today?

A year ago, I kept asking myself the same question: what would my life look like in ten years if I kept doing exactly what I was doing?

Climbing the corporate ladder was always my thing, and honestly, I was good at it. Strong results, great recognition, a salary that supported the life I wanted. But a quiet voice kept asking: Will I still be reporting to someone else at 55? Will I be happy? Will I ever reach my full potential?

So I did what I always do when I want to grow: I hired a coach. (I hire coaches for everything, which may be a blog of its own.) I joined a Tony Robbins coaching program, opened my LLC, and quietly started building Elevate KBC.

Now that this is my full-time work, my coaching calls sound completely different. They're no longer about who I'll be in ten years. They're about keeping the stamina and mindset to move forward every single day, and making sure I'm giving 100% to myself and to my business.

Here's what I've realized: I wasn't looking for a place to be happy in ten years. I needed a place to be happy today. A space to create, to innovate, to build products, programs, and services that help people, and a place where I keep growing and learning.

Like every founder, I still face risks, fears, and hard days. But I believe that if you trust the process, protect your strategy, and work with clarity, it works out.

If you're a business owner reading this: your mindset is part of your strategy. Before you spend another dollar on marketing or another hire, ask yourself whether you're building something that makes you happy today, not just someday.

I'm proud of this journey, proud of my team, and grateful for this new beginning.

Never stop learning. Going deeper into your own journey is already huge.

From business owner to businss owner

Behind every growing business is an owner who has questioned the path, worked too much, learned through failure, and kept going. The shift happens when you stop trying to do everything yourself and start protecting your energy for strategy, leadership, and growth.

Do you wake up with the feeling that you don’t know if this is exactly what you should be doing?

I think every business owner goes through the same struggles: trying to build something, not knowing if it's going to work, probably working more than 40 hours a week, and wondering if this route is the best decision, or if they should go back to a traditional 8-to-5 job.

All those questions and fears are absolutely valid! What we are seeing nowadays in social media is like all business owners are having fun, just enjoying a drink by the beach while they are getting reach…. and somehow you are not there yet. Well, let me tell you that’s not the real life of an entrepreneur or business owner. You will work hard, you will doubt yourself, you will fail, you will learn, and you will succeed!

One of the biggest learnings I had in the past months is that, although I am really good at everything (No ego problem), I am not the best person to execute some of the day-to-day tasks. I am sure that if I delegate, rely on my team, and let go of some tasks, I will take care of my energy and be more focused on strategic thinking and our clients rather than some regular tasks.

Let us help you get to those learnings faster.

Make it stand out.

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Years ago, I had an idea. I was so passionate about sports, training, working out, a healthy lifestyle, and CrossFit that I decided to own my own Gym! It was a fantastic experience, and this is how I started to love small businesses and learnt how difficult and exciting it is when you try to turn your passion into your business.

Here are a few tips to make your business successful:

1) Define your target: Who do I want to serve with this product or service? This is critical because no product is for everyone. You need to design the experience and services based on a specific consumer persona; then you can expand, but at the beginning, you need to be very strict about this!

2) Why are they going to choose my brand-product-service? Now, why is this different from any other option in the market? 80% of the time, there is someone else offering the same; that dosent mean you can’t do it better, so don’t feel discouraged when you start looking at competitors. Use this to make sure that you have strong differentiators that are going to make your idea/services better, cheaper, easier, or you have something special to win in that market.

3) When and where are the main consumption occasions? If you know this, you will know how to communicate with your potential consumer. Do they need you every day? Once per month? When are they going to think about your services or products?

These three basic questions will guide the entire strategy! And then you can start telling the story. One of the major errors I am seeing is people start communicating online, building something, without actually knowing all these Who, Why, When, and, of course, the famous WHAT, without that, you can’t create a proper marketing strategy that’s going to make you stand out

Sounds easy, but it’s not; however, asking the right questions on time will help you grow!

Make Room for Growth

It All Begins Here

Confidence doesn’t always arrive with a bold entrance. Sometimes, it builds quietly, step by step, as we show up for ourselves day after day. It grows when we choose to try, even when we’re unsure of the outcome. Every time you take action despite self-doubt, you reinforce the belief that you’re capable. Confidence isn’t about having all the answers — it’s about trusting that you can figure it out along the way.

The key to making things happen isn’t waiting for the perfect moment; it’s starting with what you have, where you are. Big goals can feel overwhelming when viewed all at once, but momentum builds through small, consistent action. Whether you’re working toward a personal milestone or a professional dream, progress comes from showing up — not perfectly, but persistently. Action creates clarity, and over time, those steps forward add up to something real.

You don’t need to be fearless to reach your goals, you just need to be willing. Willing to try, willing to learn, and willing to believe that you’re capable of more than you know. The road may not always be smooth, but growth rarely is. What matters most is that you keep going, keep learning, and keep believing in the version of yourself you’re becoming.
